Genesia thank you for forwarding these beautiful memories from Sue and Todd. I would like to add my own so that you can share them one day with Franks family if you choose to.

I moved to Short Hills from Long Island in the middle of the school year in 8th grade. I was so nervous on my first day. I walked into Mrs Carlton's science class - she introduced me to the class and then as luck would have it sat me next to Frank. He was my first friend. He immediately made me feel at home and then introduced me to his friends and the rest is a beautiful history of our friendship during those years. Your house was my second home. Your mom welcomed us, fed us, loved us...
Frank was a gentle, kind soul. He was also crazy, fun and really funny! A most perfect combination. He was always there for me as a friend. Just an amazing person.
Love, Lori
David Perlmutter
From Todd Kessler:

We were the Kings of New Jersey. We ruled from the Northern district to the Southern region, with their hundreds of Jewish nudnicks competing for our attentions and affections, gathering a quarterly conclaves to extol the virtues of our Federation. JFTY was our domain and Frank Perlmutter was our Lord King.
It wasn’t exactly Game of Thrones, but to us it was everything. It was a social network before the term came into being, and it brought we Jewish teens together and bonded us like no other force we had experienced. Armed with guitars and capos, we circled in friendship and clung to each other for adolescent survival. Frank invited me to join the Board of Directors and thus our deep friendship began. It changed my life.
I learned so much from Frank. I had never experienced indoor water polo until splashing into the Perlmutter pool at midnight. I had never heard of Jethro Tull until I heard Frank play “Locomotive Breath". He was the most generous and kind person -unnatural for most teens – and always willing to welcome a new friend into his home and his circle of friends.
We have lost a few dear friends from this treasured circle and now our dear leader has sadly joined them too soon. I will always hold dear my memories of Frank and his high octave giggle, his loping run, and the way he always made me feel at home.
I hope his memory will always be a blessing to those of us who loved him so.
